WHY IS IT POSSIBLE TO SAVE ?
When you instruct us to pay annuities, trademark or designs renewals, you typically incur four levels of expense :

1. Official fees :

This is the amount to be paid to the Intellectual Property office (see a list of organizations which have a web site in our section, useful sites). With few exceptions, this amount cannot be reduced. Some countries also allow patents to be filed with “licence of rights” which can often cut costs in half.

2. Local agent service charges :

In many countries it is a requirement to pay official fees through local agents legally authorized as representatives in their respective country. 3. Currency conversion charges :

Currency conversion and international money transfers are never free. The centralization and higher volumes of currency conversions also permits savings at this level. It also limits exchange rate risks.

4. Service and management charges :

The management of your annuities and renewals has costs, even if managed by you. You should also take into account your internal costs for following up and supporting this activity, in particular with your accounting and financial department.
