SGA² is a French based company created in 1994 by M. Gerard Borin and a few friends. This mid size company strives, throughout its growth, to maintain a team spirit that you can expect from this type of business. Our employees come from all different walks of life but share similar
values by which the company is based on.

Further to the conclusion of our experimental phase, we embarked on our business venture for the management of patents, trademarks and design renewals, and shortly started to meet with clients.

Inaugural in Cachan

We were here... (6km south of Paris).

Launching of the first version of our web site. Formalization of our quality system and first certification obtained.

Opening our office in Milan, Italy.

Commencement of our trademark renewal services.

Opening of our North American office near Montreal, Québec, Canada, for better serving our North American clients.
Commencing services for the management of registration of change of titles.
Transfer of our Italian head office to Verona, Italy.

- Clients should remain with us through their satisfaction, not by obligation over a contract. The freedom we give our clients to choose is a prerequisite.
Quality System : Since 1997 we decided to request an external and independent organization called
TÜV to check our procedures and assure that we do follow the rules and quality control regarding our performance in the management of patent annuities.
- To define the objectives fixed in the matter of quality control,
- To describe the means that we put in place in order to reach our quality goals,
- To verify regularly that the commitments taken are respected in order to maintain quality control.
A label of quality has more or less value according to the level of goals it sets. This label may have a value for our clients only if our commitments become public. Ours, are the following :
- Insuring that all necessary administrative steps are taken and are correctly accomplished in order to keep in force the IP titles which have been entrusted to us.
- Searching for the best fees while minimizing risk.
- Simplifying as much as possible the use of the service for our clients.
- Adapting our interface to our clients’ constraints rather than requiring that they adapt to us.
- Quickly react to our clients requests.
- Efficiently informing clients with exactitude and easy to follow information so as to ensure their piece of mind all while providing satisfactory results.

These objectives and the manners in which to obtain them are verified by the external auditors.

A word from the president
Since its creation in 1994, SGA2 has acquired a solid reputation. The outcome is the fruit of our labour and results have generated from the dedication brought by each individual on behalf of the company. Our best reward is seeing our clients recommend our services to their friends and colleagues. We recognize, however, that the world is changing at a rapid pace. Only businesses that adapt quickly to change have a future. That is why we value our hard to please clients since they help us to continually evolve in response to their own progress.
We respect human values, and always strive to satisfy our clients prior to seeking profitability. We treat our suppliers well so that they treat us well in return and are compelled to offer their best.
Its with this spirit in mind that we intend on developing our future while maintaining a sense of comfort for our users.
